Michael is currently serving as state director of the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s (NSCA) Southern California Chapter. The NSCA is known worldwide as the leading authority in strength and conditioning for human performance in athletics.
Michael has worked and taught clients training methods and techniques for more than 25 years. His love for sports and competition began in high school, competing in wrestling and track and field. This passion continued in college, competing and participating in many sports, including martial arts tournaments, racquetball and gymnastics. So it is easy to see that Michael has a large breath of experience and understands the needs of athletes and their specific training to improve performance since he is an athlete himself.

As a professional trainer, Michael has worked with many people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. His clients have included college and professional athletes as well as former Olympic athletes. Michael regularly offered his clients advice on various factors of training the human body ranging from;
- weight training programs and execution mechanics,
- training order and exercise selection,
- stretching protocol to avoid injury and rehab from injury,
- new training methods for pre-season and in-season competition,
- nutritional guidance for fat loss, performance enhancement,
- sports specific training for speed, agility, strength and power for a given sports task
- injury assessment as well as pre-hab and post-injury exercises to return to ‘normal’ or better.
Michael’s clients have equally benefitted from his extensive skills and knowledge in the field of injury assessment and rehabilitation, through his many learned techniques from various national conferences.
